A liquid filled bowl holds thousands of tiny stainless steel pins. A plate of magnets spin below the bowl at high RPM and violently agitates the pins. The raw aluminum parts are placed in the finisher and spun for 30 minutes. The pins break sharp edges and lightly peen the surface. After that, the lights are sent out for Electroless Nickel plating.
